Im Rahmen der Einführung der neuen Bestandssysteme wird das bestehende DWH auf dem IBM Mainframe auf eine moderne DB2 Blu Architektur migriert. Die Modellierung erfolgt ausschließlich mit DataVault und vollständiger Automatisierung mit MID Innovator und Talend für die Anbindung der Quellsysteme sowie die Datamart Modellierung. Das Projekt hat eine Laufzeit von ca. 5 Jahren und wird agil mit Jira und Confluence umgesetzt. Die Berichtserstellung erfolgt mit Oracle BI, SAS und Power BI.
Herausforderungen und Chancen einer Migration von IT und Dokumenten in die Cloud

Die Herausforderungen lagen bei den noch wenigen Erfahrungen über den Wechsel von OnPremise in die Cloud und von IBM Image Services nach IBM FileNet Content Manager. Beides wird durch das umfangreiche Praxis-Wissen von CENIT und ISR erfolgreich begleitet. Dabei werden Millionen von Archivdateien und aktuelle Dokumente migriert. Sie erfahren zudem, wie bestehende Legacy Defizite beseitigt wurden und, welche nicht technischen Aspekte zu berücksichtigen waren.

The German Sport & Olympic Museum is located in a listed former customs hall directly on the Rhine in Cologne’s Rheinauhafen harbor. Its interactive stations invite you on a journey through the history of sport from ancient times to the present day. We chose this location because top performance, team spirit, and the intelligent use of data are just as important to sport as modern information solutions – the perfect setting to discuss artificial intelligence, data & analytics, and document logistics with you. We have the entire museum exclusively for ourselves (without external visitors), including the interactive exhibition for you to experience!

Yes, we have reserved a limited number of rooms for you at two renowned Cologne hotels, which you are welcome to use at your own expense. This reservation is available for a limited time, and it is first come, first served. Unfortunately, we cannot cover your travel and accommodation costs. Detailed information about the hotels and booking can be found in the confirmation email you will receive after your registration.
Regardless of whether you arrive in Cologne by bus, car, plane, or train, the German Sport & Olympic Museum Cologne is easily accessible. Please see your confirmation email for further details on how to get there.
The German Sport and Olympic Museum Cologne offers ample parking. The museum is located in a pedestrian zone. Drivers can park directly underneath the museum in the Rheinauhafen underground parking garage (Harry Blum Platz 2, 50678 Cologne). After entering the parking garage, please follow the red signs to entrances 1.01 and 1.02. The “Museum” parking area is marked in red. Both entrances lead directly to the museum entrance.
Please note that the Rheinauhafen underground parking garage entrance is only accessible from the direction of the city center.

We reserve the right to allow other interested parties to participate in the event. Film and audio recordings, as well as photographs, will be made at the event.
