Datasphere is the new data warehouse product from SAP. As a Software-as-a-Service solution, it is based on the new HANA Cloud Services. Sooner or later, the DWC should be able to map a full-fledged enterprise data warehouse in addition to a self-service data preparation use case. ISR was already able to support three customers during the beta test phase at the end of 2019 and was therefore involved from the very beginning. We are also in close contact with SAP product development regarding the current status and future direction of the Datasphere.
With HANA SQL Data Warehouse, SAP offers an approach that is geared to today's requirements for a modern data warehouse. Agility, model-driven development, data warehouse automation, cloud orientation and open software standards are the key aspects here. With more than five years of experience, we are the market leader in the development of SAP-HANA-SQL data warehousing solutions and HANA-based applications. Our experience and close partnership with SAP is also expressed by the fact that we have developed the SAP training course HDW410, SAP HANA SQL Data Warehouse, and regularly hold it in the DACH region.
The SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is part of SAP's strategic data management portfolio and has been on the market since 1997. However, many of the old systems have become outdated, no longer meet all requirements and are facing major changes with the introduction of SAP BW/4 HANA.
