What is rehosting?
Rehosting, also known as "lift and shift," involves transferring an application to a public cloud without making any major adjustments. This is usually a relatively simple and automated process using tools such as the AWS Server Migration Service. Following the lift and shift, optimization should take place in order to make the most of the numerous advantages offered by the cloud.
