To reduce the amount of sorting and typing your team has to do, Buildsimple handles the groundwork for incoming documents:

Page Separation: Automatic separation of related transactions into individual business documents. Page separation identifies individual documents within multi-page documents. This allows the documents contained therein to be processed in a targeted manner.
Classification:Use of machine learning technologies to automatically classify documents. This determines the type of document. In this way, the platform lays the foundation for assignment and further processing according to individual rules.
Data Extraction: Use of image and text analysis methods to quickly and efficiently identify and extract data from your documents. This allows the information to be used for verification, reconciliation, and transfer to existing specialized systems.

Anonymization: Anonymization involves permanently and irreversibly removing personal data from documents to ensure data protection. This allows documents to be prepared for data-minimal further processing.
Image and Object Recognition: Automatic detection of cross-outs and handwritten additions on documents.
Content and Context Analysis: This allows for the analysis of large amounts of text data and the extraction of insights from it; furthermore, this data can be interpreted and placed in context. This reveals missing information and discrepancies. Based on this, the platform recommends specific next steps and prepares them, such as a follow-up inquiry or a technical review.

Insurance Companies

Claim reports, applications, and complaints come in all formats. Buildsimple sorts incoming mail by line of business, links claim reports to existing case data, and identifies complaints. The decision on coverage remains with your team.

Private Health Insurance (PKV)

Invoices and receipts are received via email, app, scan, or mail. Buildsimple PKV consolidates them into a single processing workflow and extracts invoice line items, fee codes, service periods, and amounts. The platform checks the information for plausibility and prepares structured business transactions for claims processing. Buildsimple PKV is ready for the new GOÄ (German Medical Fee Schedule) and processes documents according to both the old and new GOÄ. Your team makes the decisions regarding services and reimbursements.

Banks and Financial Service Providers

If any supporting documentation is missing from the loan application, the process is put on hold. Buildsimple checks documents for completeness, extracts data from pay stubs, prepares documents for onboarding and KYC checks (legally required identity verification), and flags any anomalies for fraud screening. The final decision on the loan remains with you.

Public Administration

Applications—such as those for building permits or BAföG—are entered into the system and checked for completeness. Incoming mail is sorted by subject, and discrepancies are identified.

Healthcare

Admission documents, physician's notes, and claims for coverage are entered into the system and assigned to the case. Inquiries from the Medical Service are identified, and the relevant documents are compiled.

Industry

Test reports, quality records, and bills of materials are extracted and transferred to your systems in a structured format.

Logistics & Transportation

Delivery slips, waybills, and customs documents are retrieved, linked to transaction data, and checked for completeness.

Trade

Orders, delivery notes, and invoices (including XRechnung and ZUGFeRD) are reconciled and prepared for review.
