Software for sales forecasting
You have the choice of either using your own SAP SAC or exporting your sales and warehouse data to us so that we can import it into our SAC. If you use your own SAP SAC, you just need to make sure that the relevant sales data are available in the SAC. Our dashboard will then be integrated there, and the Predict Engine can be hosted either on your premises or in our cloud. This flexibility enables seamless use and immediate access to forecast results.
The required data model comprises a two-tier hierarchy at organizational level. This consists of regions (e.g. an intermediate warehouse or a country) and stores, which either represent branches or, in the case of online retail, intermediate warehouses. There is also a two-level hierarchy for the products, consisting of product groups and individual products. To enable precise forecasts, we need the sales data from the last years (ideally on a weekly basis) for all hierarchy levels.
Our solution uses time series models that are able to integrate additional, non-time-related factors. This allows us to include special events such as promotions or major events (for example, a soccer World Cup) in the forecasts. This flexibility allows us to produce more accurate forecasts based on historical data and specific influencing factors. This ensures that your forecasts are realistic and adaptable.
