CENIT AG acquires a majority stake in ISR Information Products AG. The partnership brings with it a significant expansion of expertise and a pioneering position in information management and document logistics.

in document logistics and information management: On April 3, 2022,
CENIT AG will acquire a 74.9% majority stake in ISR Information Products AG (ISR). 25.1% of ISR shares will remain in the hands of founders Bernd Rosemeyer and Manfred Merßmann, whose management contracts have been extended for another three years.
ISR is a full-service provider for analytics and process digitization headquartered in Braunschweig with offices in Münster, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Munich. CENIT (headquartered in Stuttgart) is a global software and consulting specialist and strategic partner to companies such as SAP, Dassault Systèmes, and IBM.
Market strength and expertise in information management
Together, the companies will become the market-leading expert in the field of information management: ISR Information Products AG will become part of the global CENIT Group, but will continue to operate under its own name. The addition of "a CENIT company" expresses the integration into the CENIT Group, the associated scale, and solid capital strength. In the medium term, part of CENIT's "Enterprise Information Management" (EIM) business unit will also be merged with ISR in terms of expertise and personnel.
There are close synergies with many existing ISR business areas. With around 300 experts in the field of information management, ISR will be excellently positioned as a Cenit company in the D-A-CH market region. The combined portfolio will include solutions for holistic, industry-wide document and information logistics. This includes products, services, andconsulting services related to document and process management, customer communication, and the analysis of data and documents. In addition, the company will further expand its capabilities in managed service volume business andapplication management.
The new partnership will have many synergy effects but few operational implications for ISR's Analytics & Insights and SAP Information Management business areas.
