Transition from semi-manual reports to standardized reporting processes
In response to digitalization and increasing demands for data availability and quality, an automated self-service reporting system based on SAP Datasphere was implemented. The goal of the project was to replace existing semi-manual Excel reports and create an integrated, future-proof reporting solution. By connecting various data sources such as SAP BW and SQL databases and establishing a central data model, a unified data foundation was created. At the same time, the business unit was empowered to create reports independently and maintain the data model, significantly increasing flexibility and efficiency in reporting.
