SAP Datasphere as a central data fabric platform
Centralized reporting based on integrated data
Linking and exchanging SAP and non-SAP data
The project aimed to create a central data architecture to integrate non-SAP data into a centralized, SAP Analytics Cloud-based reporting system. In addition, the initiative served as a pilot project to integrate Python-based forecast calculations from Databricks into SAP data models. The goal was to enable integrated planning via SAP BW and cross-system reporting in SAP Analytics Cloud.
To implement this, the necessary system interfaces were set up, and data replication via SAP HANA was configured using DPA and SDA. In addition, a development and authorization strategy was defined to ensure secure, cross-system data usage.
