SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is part of SAP's strategic data management portfolio. It has been on the market since 1997 and has gained a very broad customer base of more than 15,000 customers since its inception. However, many of the old systems have become outdated and no longer meet all requirements. At the same time, there are two potential successors: SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
