The three disciplines
Document logistics
Business processes are sluggish, documents disappear in chaos, digital strategies remain fragmented—inefficient, opaque, risky, and simply frustrating.
At EIM Day, you will learn from practical projects how end-to-end document logistics ensures the targeted distribution of relevant information—when it is needed. Those who miss this opportunity will remain stuck in a document maze.
With the right combination of cloud solutions, DMS and e-file strategies, and the power of AI, you can not only optimize business processes, but also create transparency, automate workflows, strengthen compliance, and gain time and agility.
Artificial intelligence
Many companies talk about AI—but often it remains just a buzzword. The potential lies in your core systems: in data and document management, as well as in intelligent information processing.
At EIM Day, you will experience how AI noticeably improves processes: from Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), which automatically recognizes and processes documents, to the use of LLMs in DMS systems for fast research and context searches, to connection with modern data management architectures.
Case studies show how you can bring order to information chaos, make informed decisions, and take your processes to a new level.
Analytics
Your data lies dormant and unused in your systems—while your competitors are acting on clear metrics, automated processes, and modern AI?
Outdated architectures cost time, money, and opportunities. In this discipline, you will learn firsthand how leading companies are revolutionizing their data strategies: from modernizing data warehouses to transforming to modern architectures, complete automation, and replacing outdated systems to forward-looking approaches such as data mesh, DevOps, and AI-supported data analysis.
The best practice presentations are intended to inspire companies to become truly data-driven.

FileNet optimizes the workflow for controlled documents such as SBs, TOs, authdocs, and instructions in the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) environment. The goal is to seamlessly integrate these documents into maintenance, inspection, and work plans, ensuring maximum traceability and auditability (EASA/FAA compliant). The coordinated process spans departments and locations and is implemented digitally and system-supported to ensure audit-proof documentation of all actions and decisions.
The presentation shows how FileNet, in combination with Form.io software, is being used innovatively to seamlessly integrate digital forms into the process of managing controlled documents in the MRO environment, thereby increasing efficiency and user-friendliness.

How HUK-COBURG covers its digital tracks: GDPR-compliant deletion of personal data in the BI context.
Frank Blatt (Team Leader, Business Intelligence Development | HUK-COBURG)
The presentation shows the GDPR-compliant, standardized, and scalable deletion process in the planning department at HUK-COBURG, developed with mip. It explains the integration into operational processes and answers key questions: What does "deletion" mean according to the GDPR? How are objects specified? How does the process and its verification work? What synergies arise for data governance? And: Can AI help to optimize documentation and specification?
Implementing GDPR requirements costs money and only advances business to a limited extent.
This makes it all the more important to design intelligent processes and use modern technologies to ensure effective and cost-efficient data management.
