(EPC) is utilized as a graphical modeling language in business process modeling for the visualization of an organization's business processes, or for visualizing the process organization within the scope of enterprise mapping. This method was developed within the framework of the Architecture of Integrated Information Systems (ARIS) for view-oriented business process modeling and is a fundamental element of the ARIS concept.
