What does ERP mean?
ERP is the abbreviation for Enterprise Resource Planning and refers to a company's task of planning and managing various resources (e.g., personnel, capital, goods) in line with the company's purpose in order to achieve an efficient value creation process.

What are ERP systems?
ERP systems are complex systems, or rather multiple systems that communicate with each other. ERP systems can be used in all areas of a company to support resource planning. ERP systems are often divided into modules for different applications, which can be combined based on the needs of an organization. Examples include modules for finance, human resources, inventory management, sales, and research and development.
