You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Right to information
- Right to rectification or erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
§ 4 Revocation of consent

You can notify us of your revocation using the contact details provided below.
§ 5 Objection to the processing of your data
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time, provided that we base the processing on a balancing of interests or that the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and cease or adjust the processing, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. You can inform us of your objection using the contact details provided above.
§ 6 Processing activities
(1) Processing for the purpose of conducting the application process
When you send us an application, we process the data you provide in order to carry out the application process. The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor contractually stipulated, and is not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. However, without the provision of this data, we cannot consider your application. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Section 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG.
(2) Processing after completion of the application process
Once the application process has been completed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted or destroyed no later than six months after you receive notification of rejection, or your application documents will be returned to you and any copies deleted or destroyed, unless you have expressly consented to us continuing to use your data. The legal basis for processing is, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, the protection of our legitimate and, in the context of a balancing of interests, overriding interest in defending against claims based on the rejection of an application.
(3) Categories of recipients of personal data
Internally, employees in the recruiting department and employees in the requesting department have access to applicant data.
We have also commissioned service providers to maintain our IT landscape. Other service providers provide us with hosting and maintenance services for our email accounts and our telephone system.
