Beyond our SAP Gold Partner status, we are also pleased to announce another SAP partner qualification: the “Competency Framework”. About the SAP PartnerEdge Program
Learn more about the SAP Partner Program, the Competency Framework, and our long-standing partnership with SAP.
Introduced by SAP in August 2022, the Competency Framework complements and extends the PartnerEdge Program by delineating seven competency areas – including the Business Technology Platform – and three successive levels.
The Essential, Advanced, and Expert levels provide insight into specializations in SAP solutions, within a specific business segment (e.g., Analytics & Planning), or a particular industry.
For certification in the SAP Competency Framework, SAP partners must demonstrate their expertise and specialization in the respective area of competence (e.g. the Business Technology Platform) by submitting customer projects and training employees. This creates transparency and orientation for companies that are looking for experienced and competent consulting in order to design a modern and future-proof IT infrastructure.
The SAP Partner status serves as a benchmark for a partner's business performance, strategic positioning, and proficiency in managing SAP solutions.
The partner program encompasses not only the three partner statuses—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—but also the Competency Framework.
These certifications are awarded by SAP, demonstrating expertise, project experience, and sustained commitment within the SAP ecosystem. A pivotal criterion for the conferral of partner statuses is also the direct feedback received from customers and project managers concerning collaborative efforts. The partner logos enhance visibility for partners and provide guidance for both current and prospective clients.
The Silver and Gold statuses can be attained through the resale of cloud licenses, successfully deployed projects (influenced revenue), or the explicit demonstration of competencies and specializations within the cloud environment, with points awarded for each criterion.
Gold Partner status is attained upon reaching 500 points. The partner certification requires annual renewal. The Platinum status is conferred by SAP upon partners who demonstrate exceptional commitment and strategic positioning.
